SensiCell™ DMEM uses a sodium bicarbonate buffer system (3.7 g/L) and therefore requires a 5–10% CO2 environment to maintain physiological pH. Cells successfully cultured in SensiCell™ DMEM, with little or no adaptation, include ST-486, HL-60, neonatal human dermal fibroblasts (HDFn), HEK 293, and Sp2.
