Specificity for CD1d
The CD1d Mouse Anti-Human Monoclonal Antibody reacts with human CD1d, a surface glycoprotein belonging to the Ig superfamily. It is a non-classical MHC proteins, related to non-polymorphic MHC Class I-like molecules involved in the activation of NKT cells. CD1d is expressed on peripheral B cells, resting monocytes, and cortical thymocytes. In addition, expression can also be found in hepatocytes, and intestinal epithelial cells (IEC).
