Specificity for CD25
The CD25 Mouse Anti-Human Monoclonal Antibody reacts with human CD25, a 55 kDa transmembrane protein expressed by activated T cells and B cells, early progenitors of T and B lineage, and oligodendrocytes. CD25 (α subunit), in association with CD122 (beta subunit), and CD132 (gamma subunit) makes up the high affinity IL-2 receptor (IL-2R). IL-2R is involved in signal transduction, and T cell proliferation.
