Specificity for CD10
The CD10 Mouse Anti-Human Monoclonal Antibody (mAb) recognizes human CD10, a 100 kDa glycoprotein with zinc-dependent metalloprotease activity. CD10 is involved in the regulation of chemotactic and inflammatory processes involving neutrophils. CD10 is sxpressed on early common lymphoid progenitor cells, and neutrophils. CD10 is also expressed on the brush border of enterocytes, and developing kidney. Binding of the CD10 Mouse Anti-Human mAb partially blocks binding of the anti-human CD10 mAb MEM-78 clone suggesting that they recognize similar epitopes.
