Specificity for CD27
The CD27 Hamster Anti-Human/Mouse/Rat Monoclonal Antibody recognizes human, mouse, and rat CD27. CD27 is a lymphocyte-specific member of the TNFR superfamily involved in T cell-B cell interaction. It also plays a role in the maturation of CD4+ and CD8+ effector cells. CD27 is expressed by mature T cells, and by a subpopulation of B cells (primarily memory B cells). In the mouse, CD27 is expressed on nearly all thymocytes except a population of CD46-/CD8- precursors.
