Specificity for CD33
The CD33 Mouse Anti-Human Monoclonal Antibody recognizes human CD33, a 67 kDa member of the sialoadhesion family. It is a lectin involved in sialic-acid dependent cell adhesion. CD33 is expressed by myelomonocytic precursors, monocytes, mast cells, and granulocytes. Hematopoietic stem cells and lymphocytes do not express CD33.
