Specificity for CD28
The CD28 Mouse Anti-Human Monoclonal Antibody recognizes human CD28 molecule, a 44 kDa homodimer expressed on thymocytes, mature T cells, and plasma cells. CD28 is a receptor for CD80 (B7-1) and CD86 (B7-2) and provides co-stimulatory signals required for T cell activation, enhanced cytotoxicity of CD3-activated T cells, and production of interleukins.
