LysoSensor™ Yellow/Blue DND-160 is a ratiometric probe that can be used to measure the pH of acidic organelles, such as lysosomes. The LysoSensor dye produces blue fluorescence in neutral environments, but changes to yellow fluorescence in more acidic environments. The pK a of LysoSensor Yellow/Blue DND-160 is ~4.2.

The LIVE/DEAD® Fixable Blue Dead Cell Stain Kit is used to determine the viability of cells prior to the fixation and permeabilization required for intracellular antibody staining or prior to elimination of biohazardous materials using formaldehyde fixation. This kit has been optimized and validated for use with a violet laser flow cytometer. • Stable—dyes are freeze dried in separate vials to maintain stability • Robust—staining pattern is the same before and after fixation • Bright signal—allows for easy distinction between live/dead cells in single channel Stable Unlike products that are so...

ER-Tracker Blue-White DPX dye is a photostable probe that is selective for the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) in live cells. The cells can be aldehyde-fixed after staining with the dye but significant fluorescence signal will be lost. With excitation at ~374 nm, the environmentally-sensitive probe exhibits emission between 430 and 640 nm. A long-pass DAPI filter works best.

Molecular Probes® CellTracker™ fluorescent probes freely pass through cell membranes and are converted to cell-impermeant reaction products. The cell-impermeant form is passed to daughter cells through several generations but is not transferred to adjacent cells in the population. Cells that are loaded with CellTracker™ probes are typically fluorescent and viable for at least 24 hours, making these probes excellent long-term cell tracers. Furthermore, the staining pattern can be fixed with formaldehyde or glutaraldehyde to allow long-term storage of the labeled cells or tissue, to facilitate s...

Molecular Probes® Cell Sorting Set-up Beads are reliable standards for flow cytometry sorter instrument setup and calibration. The Cell Sorting Set-up Beads approximate the size, emission wavelength, and intensity of many biological samples, and so can be used to calibrate a flow cytometer’s cell sorting system, including laser source, optics, and stream flow. The beads are optimized for checking cell sorter settings such as drop delay and efficiency (cell loss during sorting). Cell Sorting Set-up Beads are available for use with UV, blue, green/yellow, and red lasers. These 6.0 µm beads for bl...
