Global EHS Management Systems

The Life Technologies Global EHS organization uses a comprehensive approach to manage EHS aspects of the business along the entire supply chain, from sourcing materials, to developing, manufacturing and distributing products to our customers. This approach consists of the EHS Achievement Program and the EHS Audit Program. Both programs are applied with the same level of rigor to all sites globally, whether in Europe, the Asia-Pacific region or the United States.

    Life Technologies and the Ignite Institute for Individualized Health for a collaboration to create a ground-breaking genomic sequencing center at Ignite's new facility in Northern Virginia. Ignite will acquire 100 of the Applied Biosystems SOLiD(TM) 4 Systems, the most advanced next generation DNA sequencing platform on the market, establishing the largest concentration of genetic analytical power in North America.

  • Q4 & FY09 Results

    Life Technologies today announced results for its fourth quarter and full year ending December 31, 2009. Non-GAAP revenue for the fourth quarter was $874 million, resulting in full year non-GAAP revenues of $3.30 billion, an increase of 5 percent over the $3.14 billion reported for 2008, as if Invitrogen and Applied Biosystems had been combined.
