A part of the PI3K/AKT Pathway, 4E-BP1 (EIF4EBP1; eukaryotic translation initiation factor 4E binding protein 1) is a cytosolic protein that is phosphorylated at Thr46 by mTORC1 upon stimulation of the pathway.
For use in combination with the GFP-4E-BP1 physiological protein substrate (PV4759) to evaluate inhibitors in medium to high throughput screening applications. An optimized mTor assay buffer (PV4794) is also available.
