Event for Coverage Wednesday, May 11, 2011: Join Life Technologies' Carlsbad-Based Employees for its Eighth Annual Global Volunteer Day

More than 3,800 Life Technologies employees in 26 countries around the world will volunteer four hours of company paid time today to support the communities in which they live and work.




We invite you to join us on-site to interview employees about what giving back to the community means to them, and to roll up your sleeves and pitch in if you'd like!

Decorating and stuffing bags with fresh produce to be donated to children in need through Feeding America

Building bikes to be donated to the Boys and Girls Club of Carlsbad

Hands-on science experiments, facility tour, career talk and resume building class with over 150 local high school students
