Life Technologies’ US operations will be observing a nationwide vacation period from November 25–29, 2013, when a majority of our US offices will be closed in observation of the Thanksgiving holiday period.

In general, please expect delays for US orders placed after 3pm ET on Tuesday, November 26. We will resume our normal US shipment schedule on Monday, December 2.

Our Canadian operations will remain open during that week. Canadian customers can order on the web and will not experience delays for certain products stocked in our Burlington distribution center. However, there may be instances when products are not available out of the Burlington distribution center, so Canadian customers should plan accordingly.

FAQs

If you need your products between November 27 and 29, place your orders by Tuesday, November 26, no later than 3pm ET (US customers).

Orders will ship Tuesday, November 26 for Wednesday delivery. Canadian customers can order products on the web that are stocked in the Burlington Distribution Center as usual. However, keep in mind that some products may ship from US distribution centers, which will not be shipping Wednesday, November 27 through Friday, November 29. In these cases you may experience delays.

Please expect delays for US orders placed after 3pm ET on Tuesday, November 26. We will resume our normal US shipment schedule on Monday, December 2.

Customer Care will operate with a full staff on November 25 and 26, and be available to handle questions concerning ordering, availability, missing orders or backorders, billing or other customer issues. Customers should continue to call customer service at 800.955.6288 or email customerservice@lifetech.com.

The Technical Application Support Center and the Remote Instrument Service Center will both operate with a reduced staff from November 25 to 27. Customers can call 800.955.6288 (option 3 or 4) or email at www.lifetechnologies.com/askaquestion. Additionally, tech support will have a list of on-call field application specialists (FAS), in case there are any urgent needs.

Yes, you can place your orders on lifetechnologies.com during this time. However, expect shipping delays for US-stocked products for orders placed after 3pm ET Tuesday, November 26. There are no expected delays for Canadian customers ordering B2B or on the web for products in stock at our Burlington Distribution Center.

Sales representatives will also be observing this holiday from November 25 through 29.

The B2B team will be operating with a reduced staff from November 25 to 27. Inquiries/issues should be sent to b2b@lifetech.com and the project manager on duty will address them. Issues that cannot be resolved by the B2B team will be escalated to IT for further follow up.
