ProLong® Gold antifade performance

ProLong® Gold antifade reagent outperforms all other commercially available antifade reagents because it preserves signal across the entire visible spectrum and causes little or no quenching of the initial fluorescent signal.

Fixed bovine pulmonary artery endothelial cells (BPAEC) were labeled with anti–alpha-tubulin antibody (A11126) and visualized with fluorescein goat anti–mouse IgG antibody (F2761). The samples were mounted in ProLong® Gold antifade reagent (P36930, top) or phosphate-buffered saline (bottom). Images were acquired at 5-second intervals using a 40x/1.3 NA oil immersion objective with continuous illumination from a standard 100-watt Hg-arc lamp.
