Ethidium bromide (EtBr) stain offers sensitive nucleic acid detection, but is both a mutagen and carcinogen. SYBR® Safe DNA stain offers similar detection sensitivity and is designed to be a safer alternative to EtBr.
 
Step 5: Visualize with E-Gel® Imager
Visualize your DNA bands with the high performance E-Gel® imaging system. Analyze and quantify your DNA sample with easy-to-use GelQuant™ Express analysis software and GelCapture™ Acquisition software, included with imager.
