When selecting a host system for expressing protein there are many factors to consider. These include: post translational modifications, equipment availability, and time constraints. We have mapped out the details for each host system, that along with information for applicable products the we offer, to allow you to make the most appropriate choice based on your needs and budget.

  • Is your protein endogenously expressed in bacterial or yeast cells?
  • Do you know that it’s insoluble in a bacterial expression system?
  • Do you need native posttranslation modifications?
  • Do you want some level of eukaryotic posttranslational modifications?


Desired preparation time
