Human metaphase chromosomes hybridized to centromere probes labeled with ChromaTide OBEA-dCTP nucleotides. Probes specific to the alpha satellite sequences from human chromosome 17, chromosome 15 and chromosome 1 were labeled using nick translation with ChromaTide Alexa Fluor 488-7-OBEA-dCTP (green, C21555), ChromaTide Alexa Fluor 594-7-OBEA-dCTP (red) and ChromaTide Alexa Fluor 647-12-OBEA-dCTP (pink, C21559), respectively. The probes were hybridized to metaphase spreads from peripheral blood lymphocyte cultures. The chromosomes were counterstained with Hoechst 33342 (blue) (H1399, H3570, H21492).
