Human Interferon gamma (IFNg) Recombinant Protein (Thermo Scientific™)

Purity: >98% pure by SDS-PAGE and HPLC analysis. Activity: One unit of activity is <0.05 ng/ml, corresponding to a specific activity of 2x10^7 units/mg, as determined in a virus resistance assay. Use: IFN gamma exerts activity in the range of 0.1 to 10 ng/ml for most in vitro applications. Reconstitution and Dilution: Reconstitute in distilled water to a concentration of 100 ug/ml. After reconstitution, dilute cytokine in a neutral buffer containing carrier protein such as 5-10% FBS or 1-4% high purity BSA (fatty acid free fraction V). Lyophilized product is stable until expiration if stored desiccated below 0ºC. Cytokines diluted as indicated above should be divided into aliquots and stored at -70ºC. Recombinant proteins should be stored at concentrations >500 ng/ml to reduce loss of activity. ...
