Primary Mouse Neurons can be maintained at least for 3 weeks

Life Technologies’ Primary Mouse Cortical Neurons (Cat. No. A15585) were cultured on to poly-D-lysine coated plates for 7 days in Neurobasal® media supplemented with 2% B-27® (Cat. No 17504-044) and 0.5 mM GLUTAMAX™-I (Cat. No.  35050). Immunocytochemistry was performed at Day 14 (left) and Day 24 (right). Cells were stained with mouse anti-MAP2 antibody and Alexa fluor® 488–labeled anti-mouse secondary antibody. Astrocytes were stained with rabbit anti-GFAP antibody and Alexa fluor® 594–labeled rabbit secondary antibody. Nuclei were stained with DAPI.
